Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After a hearty breakfast, we embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way, we’ll pause for memorable photo opportunities at the Equator and enjoy lunch in Mbarara town. Traverse through picturesque landscapes adorned with banana plantations and rolling hills of Kigezi until we reach our overnight stay at Buhoma Lodge or Mahogany Springs Lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Following an early morning breakfast, we head to Buhoma Park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on our gorilla trekking adventure. Led by experienced guides, we join fellow explorers in search of these magnificent creatures. The trek duration can vary from 30 minutes to 7 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. Once we locate them, we’ll have approximately one hour for observation and photography before returning to the park headquarters for certificates. We then retire for the night at Buhoma Lodge or Mahogany Springs Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After you eat breakfast, you’ll start driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda. When you get there, you’ll have lunch at the lodge. After lunch, you can take it easy for a bit before going on an evening game drive in the Kasenyi savannah. Here, you might see animals like buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, and big cats like lions and leopards if you’re lucky. When you’re done, you’ll head back to the lodge for the night.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
In the morning, you’ll go back to the Kasenyi plains for another game drive to spot any animals you might have missed the day before. Afterward, you’ll head back to the lodge for lunch. Then, you’ll go to the jetty along the Kazinga Channel for an afternoon boat cruise. This is a great chance to see hippos, water birds, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and lots of other wildlife that come to the channel for water.

Day 5: Back to Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast, it’s time to drive back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport. Along the way, you’ll stop at the Equator for some photos. Then, it’s off to the airport for your next flight.
