You will begin with early morning journey to the southwestern part of Uganda, where Bwindi National Park awaits. Rise early to savor a hearty breakfast and pack your lunch and water for the day’s trek in the forest. Head to the park headquarters for a briefing before venturing into the forest to encounter the majestic mountain gorillas. The trek may take 2 to 6 hours, but the magical moment you spend with these gentle giants will make it all worthwhile. Witness their human-like characteristics and capture memories to last a lifetime. After the trek, return to the lodge to freshen up before embarking on the optional a community walk to meet the Batwa people. Delight in their cultural performances, dances, and songs, gaining insight into their way of life. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
You’ll embark on another thrilling gorilla trek, this time encountering a different gorilla group either in the same sector or the different sector according to your preference. Capture more incredible moments and learn about the unique characteristics of this new gorilla family. After the trek, if time allows you may decide to head to Lake Bunyonyi, a picturesque lake surrounded by terraced hills or stay at the lodge in Bwindi for overnight.
You will start the day with a sumptuous breakfast. Relish the last moments of your safari as you pack up and begin your journey back to Kampala. Along the way, savor a delicious lunch and make a few stopovers to capture the essence of Uganda’s beauty.
