  Day 1: Arrival and Akagera National Park Exploration

  As you touch down at Kigali International Airport, our dedicated team will warmly welcome you and facilitate a seamless customs process. Your journey begins with a transfer to Akagera National Park, an abode for the magnificent Big 5. En route, savor the picturesque landscapes and rolling hills of Rwanda. Experience an engaging game drive, spotting awe-inspiring creatures like elephants, giraffes, lions, and buffaloes. Upon reaching the lodge, complete your check-in, enjoy a leisurely lunch, and unwind. The afternoon unfolds with a captivating sunset boat cruise on Lake Ihema, where you’ll encounter the lively presence of hippos and a diverse array of bird species. As the sun sets, return to the lodge to rest and recharge.

  Day 2: Full Day Safari and Return to Kigali

  After a nourishing breakfast, you will pack your lunch and embark on a full day of exploration within Akagera National Park. Venture to the southern giraffe region and the lakeside road leading to Birengero. Witness the park’s vibrant wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Take a pause for a delightful packed lunch at a scenic picnic area. As the day concludes, make your way back to Kigali. Upon arriving at your hotel, indulge in dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
