The 3 Day Fly-in Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is specifically tailored for individuals with limited time who wish to experience gorilla trekking in Uganda. This itinerary eliminates the lengthy drives from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by offering a one and a half hour flight, followed by a one and a half hour road transfer from the Kihihi airstrip to Buhoma.
Your adventure kicks off with a transfer to Entebbe Airport for an internal flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The flight, lasting one to one and a half hours, will land at either Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip. A guide and vehicle will be ready to take you to your lodge in Bwindi NP, where you’ll stay overnight. Choose between morning (7:45 am) or afternoon (12:30 pm) flights. Note that the southern part has only a morning option due to strong winds, departing at 7:45 am.

Flight time: One to one and a half hours
Begin your day with an early breakfast, packing lunch for your adventure. Head to the Park headquarters for registration and a briefing on Gorilla Tracking dos and don’ts at 7:45 am. Accompanied by guides, you’ll trek through dense vegetation, searching for magnificent Gorillas. The trek, lasting from half an hour to three quarters of the day, takes you through steep, forested landscapes, providing an awe-inspiring experience with these beautiful yet endangered creatures.

After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to Kihihi/Kisoro for your internal flight back to Entebbe International Airport. If you have a connecting flight, proceed to your onward destination, or extend your stay in Uganda to explore other regions. The 3-day fly-in safari to see the Gorillas concludes.
