The journey can range from 1 to 6 hours, leading to captivating encounters with the ever-mobile mountain gorillas. Once you locate them, relish in their presence, capturing photographs for a maximum of 1 hour. Following this mesmerizing experience, return to your starting point for onward transfers to the next segment of the program. After a fulfilling lunch, consider visiting the iby’lwacu cultural village, adding cultural depth to your adventure, before returning to your lodge for a restful evening and overnight stay.
Building on the excitement of the previous day, venture out for another exhilarating gorilla trek. This time, you’ll be introduced to a different mountain gorilla family, allowing for even more enchanting encounters. In the afternoon, you have the option to explore the twin lakes, delve into the mysteries of the Musanze caves, or simply unwind and relax at your chosen accommodation.
After a hearty breakfast, prepare for your journey back to Kigali.
