  Day 1: Journey to Bwindi NP

  Start your adventure by leaving from Entebbe\Kampala for an 8-9 hour road trip to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in southwestern Uganda. Bwindi is home to half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Along the way, stop at the Equator for photos and a simple experiment. Afterward, head to Mbarara town for a tasty lunch. Following lunch, take a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you’ll stay at Buhoma Lodge or Mahogany Springs Lodge.

  Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park

  Have an early breakfast and drive to the Park headquarters for registration and a gorilla trek briefing. Join others to learn the dos and don’ts during the trek. Trek through dense vegetation with knowledgeable guides in search of the gorillas. The trek may take from half an hour to three-quarters of the day. Despite the challenging landscape, animal trails make it accessible. Along the way, you may spot other primates, birds, and rare trees. Spend one precious hour observing the gorillas before trekking back to the Park headquarters. Gorilla trekking not only offers an extraordinary experience but also supports gorilla conservation.   Day 3: Relaxation at Lake Bunyonyi

  Day 4: Return Journey

  After breakfast, drive to Kampala or Entebbe for post-tour accommodation or departure. Follow the same route with a stopover at the Equator.
