  As the sun rises, enjoy a hearty breakfast before you set out for Nyiragongo national park, where our experienced guides will provide comprehensive instructions. The journey to conquer Nyiragongo Mountain commences, a 5-6 hour hike through lush rainforests. Equip yourself with a rain jacket, sturdy rubber shoes, a climbing stick, headgear, and ample water. As night falls, we’ll rest in tents at the summit camp, savoring dinner amidst this remarkable natural setting.

  Day 3: Descent and Exploration of Goma

  Morning brings a nourishing breakfast at the summit camp, followed by the descent. Our skilled driver will take you to the vibrant Goma village, allowing for exploration and interaction with the local culture. A comfortable overnight stay awaits you at Mikeno Lodge, where you can unwind and reflect on the day’s experiences.

  Day 4: Encounter with Gorillas in Virunga National Park

  You will begin your day early with a delicious breakfast, packing a lunch and sufficient water. Our driver will escort you to the park headquarters for essential guidance on the gorilla trekking adventure. Embark on a forest trek in search of the gentle giants before they commence their search for sustenance. While on this journey, you’ll not only encounter gorillas but also marvel at the diverse wildlife, including monkeys, elephants, and a variety of birds.
