  Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

From there, we’ll set off on an awe-inspiring drive to Bwindi National Park, crossing over to Uganda through the scenic Kyanika/Katuna border. The journey will take you through the picturesque Kigezi hills, adorned with rolling landscapes and breathtaking valleys. Arriving at the park, you’ll settle into your comfortable lodge for an overnight stay.

  Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

  Rise early to savor a delicious breakfast before heading to the park headquarters. There, you’ll join fellow adventurers for a comprehensive briefing about the do’s and don’ts during your gorilla habituation experience. Led by experienced researchers and guides, you’ll embark on an exhilarating trek into the heart of the forest. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to encounter various bird species, other wildlife, and enchanting primates.
  Upon locating the gorilla family, the real magic begins. You’ll be granted an extraordinary four-hour encounter with these gentle giants. As researchers continue their vital habituation work, you’ll have the unique opportunity to observe and listen to their interactions with the gorillas. You might even be invited to participate in activities such as sample collection and naming of group members.
