Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, your guide will be there to greet you and provide a comfortable transfer to Kampala, where you will spend the night. Depending on the traffic conditions, you may have the opportunity to take an optional and self-funded city tour, exploring the vibrant city center, before continuing to your chosen accommodation for the night.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, embark on a captivating journey to the eastern town of Jinja, where your thrilling Uganda adventure awaits. The drive will take you through the picturesque Mabira Forest, a tropical rainforest nestled in central Uganda. Along the way, you will be enchanted by the lush tea and sugarcane plantations, as well as the vibrant roadside markets. Arriving at Kalagala Falls, you will have the opportunity to partake in an unforgettable full or half-day white water rafting adventure on the iconic River Nile. In the evening, return to Kampala and settle in for the night at Red Chilli Hideout.

Start your day with an early departure from Kampala as you make your way to the magnificent Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in southwestern Uganda. Along the journey, make a stop at the Equator crossing in Kayabwe for an informative talk, photography opportunities, and engaging experiments. Proceeding to Mbarara town, you will enjoy a delightful lunch before continuing your drive through the rolling green hills adorned with beautiful banana and tea plantations. In the evening, arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, where you will spend the night.

After a good breakfast and carrying your packed lunch, go to the Park Headquarters for registration at 7:45 am. Listen to important information about what to do and not do during your Gorilla Tracking adventure. Then, you’ll be driven to the starting point for your gorilla family. Led by experienced guides, trek through the thick forest to find the majestic gorillas. The trek can be short or take most of the day, depending on where the gorillas are. It’s a special privilege to be near these endangered creatures. Remember, gorilla tracking can be tough, needing some fitness. You’ll have one hour to observe and take pictures. After, get a certificate at the park headquarters for helping conserve these amazing mountain gorillas.

After enjoying your morning breakfast and receiving a packed lunch, embark on the return journey to Kampala/Entebbe International Airport, where you will bid farewell to Uganda. The drive back will take approximately 8-9 hours, allowing you to reflect on the incredible experiences and memories from your 5-day Gorillas and White Water Rafting Safari.
