After a satisfying breakfast, we will drive to the picturesque Lake Bunyonyi, located on the Eastern side of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Along the way, we will make a stop at the Equator crossing in Kayabwe for photography and engaging experiments. In the evening, we will reach our accommodations, either Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge or Trekkers Tervan Lodge, for an overnight stay.
After an early breakfast and packing a packed lunch, we will head to Ruhija Park Headquarters for registration and briefing. Our experienced guides will lead us through the dense forest, navigating its thick creepers and undergrowth as we embark on our gorilla trek. The duration of the trek can vary from half an hour to a substantial portion of the day, depending on the gorillas’ location. The mesmerizing landscape and the extraordinary experience of encountering these endangered creatures make the trek truly unforgettable. We will return to our accommodations at Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge or Trekkers Tervan Lodge for overnight stay.
