The 14-Day Kenya & Uganda Safari Adventure takes you through two famous East African safari countries. You will explore wild landscapes, see many animals, and meet local people. This trip visits top places like the Giraffe Centre and Masai Mara in Kenya, plus Murchison Falls, Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda. You will track chimpanzees and see mountain gorillas. The trip can start in either Kenya or Uganda. It gives you the freedom to enjoy both countries in one exciting journey.
Your safari starts when you arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Kenya. Your safari guide will welcome you warmly and give you a short briefing about the trip. Then you will transfer to a hotel in Nairobi. This day is for relaxing after your flight and preparing for your adventure.

After breakfast, you will visit the famous Giraffe Centre. You will see and feed Rothschild giraffes from a raised platform. This experience lets you come very close to these gentle animals. After the visit, you will travel to Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, enjoy views of the Great Rift Valley and the rolling countryside. On arrival, you may go for an evening game drive.
You will spend two full days exploring Masai Mara. Each day will have a morning and afternoon game drive. The park is home to lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos. You will also see zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, giraffes, and many birds. During July to October, you may see the Great Migration of wildebeests and zebras crossing the Mara River. You may also visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture, traditional dress, and dances.

After breakfast, you will drive back to Nairobi. You will then take a flight to Entebbe International Airport in Uganda. Your Ugandan guide will meet you and transfer you to a hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. You can rest and prepare for the next part of the trip.

After breakfast, you will start your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way, you may stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos on foot. This sanctuary is the only place in Uganda where you can see wild rhinos. You will then continue to the park. If you arrive early, you may take an evening game drive.

This day starts with a morning game drive. You may see elephants, lions, buffaloes, and leopards, along with giraffes and antelopes. In the afternoon, you will take a boat cruise on the Nile River. You will see hippos, crocodiles, and many water birds. The boat will also take you near the bottom of the powerful Murchison Falls.

After breakfast, you will drive south through beautiful Ugandan countryside. The journey passes rolling hills, tea plantations, and lively villages. You will reach Kibale Forest National Park, which is famous for having the highest number of primates in Africa.

You will have an early breakfast and then head into Kibale Forest with a guide. The trek may take between two to four hours. When you find the chimpanzees, you will spend an hour watching them as they play, eat, and interact. You may also see other monkeys and birds.

After breakfast, you will travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way, enjoy views of crater lakes and the Rwenzori Mountains. You may choose to rest at your lodge on arrival or take an evening game drive.

In the morning, you will drive to the Ishasha sector. This area is famous for tree-climbing lions. You may also see elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and many birds. In the afternoon, you will take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This waterway is home to hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and many water birds.

After breakfast, you will travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. This park is home to almost half of the world’s mountain gorillas. The drive passes through beautiful hills, terraced farms, and villages. On arrival, you will check into your lodge and prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking.

After an early breakfast, you will go to the park office for a briefing. You will then enter the forest with guides to search for gorillas. The trek can take between two to six hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. Once you find them, you will spend one hour watching and photographing them. This is one of the most special wildlife experiences in Africa.
