Most beach resorts close during this period, and the humidity can be uncomfortable, especially if you’re not planning to swim. If you prefer dry weather and want to avoid the rain, it’s best to avoid visiting Zanzibar during these months.
From December to February, Zanzibar faces scorching temperatures, reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius. The weather is hot and dry during this time, which may not be ideal for everyone. If you can handle the heat, you might still enjoy your visit, but be prepared for high temperatures.
The best time to visit Zanzibar is from June to October when the weather is dry and cool. During this period, you can enjoy pleasant temperatures and clear skies, making it perfect for exploring the island’s beaches and cultural sites.
