Your adventure begins when you arrive at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. An Iconic Africa Safaris guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After checking in, relax and get ready for your safari ahead. The evening is free for you to rest or explore Nairobi at your leisure.
After breakfast, you’ll begin your journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes, offering a glimpse into rural Kenya. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and settle in. In the afternoon, enjoy a thrilling game drive across the reserve. Maasai Mara is known for its abundance of wildlife, including lions, elephants, and wildebeest. You’ll have a chance to observe these animals in their natural habitat.

On this day, you’ll enjoy a full day game drive in Maasai Mara. This is an excellent opportunity to spot the “Big Five” and other animals like cheetahs, giraffes, and zebras. Your guide will take you to different parts of the reserve to increase your chances of seeing diverse wildlife. The landscape is stunning, with vast savannas and acacia trees that provide a perfect backdrop for your safari photos.
Start your day with an early morning game drive. Afterward, you’ll visit a Maasai village. Here, you’ll learn about the Maasai culture and their traditional way of life. The Maasai are known for their vibrant customs, including their distinctive clothing, dances, and rituals. You can interact with the villagers and understand how they coexist with wildlife in the reserve.

After breakfast, you’ll travel to Murchison Falls National Park. The park is known for its stunning waterfall, where the Nile River crashes through a narrow gorge. Once you arrive, check into your accommodation and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. You’ll have a chance to relax and prepare for tomorrow’s exciting activities.

Your day starts with a morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. The park is home to elephants, lions, giraffes, and many more animals. After the game drive, you’ll enjoy a relaxing afternoon boat cruise on the Nile River. The boat ride takes you close to the falls, and you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birds along the way.
After breakfast, you’ll travel to Kibale Forest National Park. This park is famous for its chimpanzees, and it is one of the best places in the world to see them. Once you arrive, check into your accommodation and relax. You’ll prepare for tomorrow’s chimpanzee trekking adventure.

On this day, you’ll enjoy chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest. With the help of experienced guides, you’ll track chimpanzees and observe them in their natural environment. After breakfast, you’ll depart Bwindi and travel back to Entebbe for your flight home. You’ll reflect on the incredible memories from your safari as you head to the airport for your return flight.
