Subsequently, you will embark on your gorilla trekking expedition into the dense mountain forest. The trek duration varies depending on gorilla family locations, typically lasting 2-6 hours. Once you locate a gorilla family, you will spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants.
After this incredible experience, you have an optional afternoon activity. You can hike to Dian Fossey’s tomb and research center, learning about the famous primatologist’s conservation work.
