If you arrive in Uganda through Entebbe, you can take a domestic flight to Kisoro Airstrip. This flight takes about one hour. From Kisoro, a 30-minute drive brings you to Mount Gahinga Lodge. Alternatively, you can travel by road. The drive from Entebbe to Mgahinga takes about 10 hours, covering approximately 510 kilometers. Though long, the journey offers scenic views of Uganda’s countryside.

From Kigali International Airport

Kigali provides a quicker option for reaching Mgahinga. The drive from Kigali to Mount Gahinga Lodge takes about four hours. The route covers approximately 160 kilometers and includes a border crossing at Cyanika. Many travelers prefer this option because it reduces travel time and allows them to explore two countries in one trip.
