Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Masai Mara National Reserve
You will start your adventure with a journey to the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Kenya’s most famous wildlife destinations. Depending on your preference and budget, you can either take a short 45-minute flight from Nairobi or a six-hour drive to the reserve. If you choose the flight, you will arrive in the morning, check in at your lodge, and have some time to relax before lunch.
After lunch, you have the option to either relax at your lodge or take an evening game drive in the reserve. During the game drive, you can expect to spot some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife, including lions, elephants, and giraffes.

Day 2 & 3: Game Drives in Masai Mara
The next two days will be spent exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve. This reserve offers some of the best wildlife experiences in Kenya. You can go for morning and evening game drives in search of predators like lions and leopards, which are often active early in the morning before the day gets too hot. The evening drives are also a great time to spot wildlife as the sun begins to set.
Some visitors prefer to take full-day game drives, which allow them to explore more of the park. In this case, you will leave the lodge with a packed lunch and spend the day searching for the Big Five and other wildlife that call the Masai Mara home. Wherever you go in this vast reserve, you are sure to see a variety of animals.
You can also choose to visit a Maasai village (Manyata) during your stay. This cultural visit offers a glimpse into the life of the Maasai people, how they live alongside wildlife, and their traditions, including songs and dances.

Day 4: Transfer to Diani Beach
After enjoying the wildlife of the Masai Mara, it’s time to head to the coast for some relaxation. You will take a flight from the Masai Mara to Nairobi, then connect to another flight that will take you to Diani Beach. This beach is considered one of the most beautiful in Africa, with its clear blue waters and white sandy shores. When you arrive in the afternoon, you will have time to unwind at your resort and take in the stunning ocean views and palm trees.

Day 5 & 6: Relaxing at Diani Beach
You will spend the next two days at Diani Beach, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of this coastal paradise. Whether you want to simply relax on the white sand or take part in some exciting activities, the choice is yours.
If you’re feeling adventurous, there are plenty of activities to choose from. You can visit the Colobus Conservation, which protects endangered monkeys, or visit local art galleries. Water sports like snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and even skydiving are also available. If you’re interested in nature, you can explore Kinondo Sacred Forest or go on a Dhow Safari, a traditional boat trip.
No matter what you choose, these days at Diani Beach will allow you to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Kenya’s coastline.

Day 7: Return to Nairobi and Departure
On your last day, you will check out of your hotel and take a flight back to Nairobi, where you will catch your international flight home. Depending on the time of your departure, you may have some extra time to explore Nairobi before your flight.
