During this flight, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Kenya’s highlands and the Rift Valley. By evening, you’ll arrive at Masai Mara and settle into your accommodation at Olanana Sanctuary retreats camp.

Day 02: Exploring Masai Mara

Day 03: Morning Game Drive and Community Visit
Start your day with another exhilarating morning game drive. In the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Masai community. This visit offers a chance to interact with the local culture, purchase souvenirs, and gain insights into the Masai way of life.

Day 04: Flight to Bwindi via Kisumu and Entebbe
After breakfast, you’ll head to the airport for your flight to Bwindi. This journey will take you via Kisumu and Entebbe for customs clearance.
Day 05: Gorilla Tracking
Following breakfast and with packed lunch in tow, you’ll be driven to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla tracking. Your allocated gorilla family will depend on factors like your fitness level, interests, and age. Once briefed, you’ll embark on a trek into the forest to find the gorillas. Upon sighting them, you’ll have an hour for observing and photographing these magnificent creatures before returning to Mahogany Springs lodge.

Day 07: Ngamba Island Visit and Departure
After breakfast, you’ll head to the waterfront/UWEC for a speed boat ride to Ngamba Island. Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to feed orphaned chimps and enjoy lunch on the island. Later, you’ll return to Entebbe by boat for your evening flight back home, marking the end of your 7-day fly-in to Masai Mara & Gorilla Trekking Safari.
