Fly-in Gorilla Habituation Experience Tour in Uganda
This 3-Day fly-in gorilla habituation experience tour is designed for people who don’t have a lot of time in Uganda but want to spend more time with mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. With our 3-day fly-in gorilla habituation experience tour, you can spend four hours with mountain gorillas all in one day. Instead of enduring an 8-9 hour drive from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, our tour uses scheduled or charter flights to and from the park. These flights take about one and a half hours, giving you more time to relax at the lodge.

Detailed Itinerary
Arrival
- You’ll be picked up from the airport (or your hotel).
- Accommodation before the tour departs can be arranged for an extra cost.
DAY 1: Pick up from Airport
Start your adventure by heading to Entebbe International Airport for your one-hour internal scheduled or charter flight to Kisoro Airstrip. From there, you’ll be driven to Nkuringo Gorilla Camp for your overnight stay.

DAY 2: Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up early and head to the park headquarters. There, you’ll join other guests for a briefing on the dos and don’ts while with mountain gorillas during your habituation experience. After the briefing, your trek into the forest begins, guided by researchers and knowledgeable guides. Along the way, you might spot various birds, animals, and primates. Once you locate the gorillas, you’ll spend four hours with them, observing their behaviors and interactions. You’ll also have the chance to listen to researchers at work, habituating the gorillas, and you might even get involved by collecting samples or naming group members.

DAY 3: Departure
Transfer by road to Kisoro Airport for your morning scheduled or charter flight back to Entebbe Airport. From there, you can either spend an extra night in Entebbe town or connect with your international departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable gorilla habituation experience tour.
