As you glide through the swamp, you may spot the Shoe-bill standing in the reeds or flying above the papyrus plants. After your hike, return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat trip along the Nile River. Start your day with breakfast. After that, you will be transferred to the park headquarters. At the park headquarters, you will receive a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) staff. They will explain the rules and what to expect during the gorilla trek. After the briefing, a guide will lead you into the jungle. You will track the shy gorillas of the group you have been assigned. Remember to pack your lunch boxes before leaving the lodge. You will have lunch in the jungle, so it’s important to be prepared.
Gorilla trekking is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences in the world. You will spend between 2 and 6 hours tracking the gorillas. The guide will help you get closer to them in their natural habitat. Once you have had the chance to see the gorillas up close, you will return to the lodge. You will have time to relax in the afternoon after an exciting day in the jungle.

Start your day with breakfast. Afterward, you will begin your road trip to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. The drive will take you through beautiful forests. Along the way, you may spot monkeys and several bird species. The journey will be scenic and enjoyable.
When you arrive at Volcanoes National Park, you will check in at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel. You will have lunch at the hotel and the rest of the day is free for relaxation.

Your day will begin early with breakfast at 6:00 am. You will then be transferred to the park headquarters for your briefing at 6:30 am. This is your second gorilla tracking experience, this time in Rwanda. You will be guided by a park ranger and two scouts to track the gorillas. Volcanoes National Park is home to 10 families of gorillas, and you will have the chance to see one of them up close. This adventure lasts between 2 and 6 hours. The experience is unforgettable and worth every minute.
After the gorilla trek, you will return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will relax and then go on a cultural tour. The cultural tour will introduce you to the local people and their traditions. This is a great way to end your day in Rwanda.

After your golden monkey trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will begin your journey to Akagera National Park. Wake up early for a full day of adventure. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing at 5:00 am. After the briefing, you will walk into the forest to track chimpanzees. The trek can take 2 to 3 hours. You will see the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, which is an exciting and educational experience.
After the chimpanzee trek, you will return to the lodge to rest and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will go on a canopy walk. The walk takes place on a bridge above the forest floor, where you can spot animals from a higher perspective. It’s a unique way to view the forest and wildlife. After the canopy walk, you will return to the lodge for dinner.
